We decided to take a series of Tro Tro's to Akwidaa Beach where we've booked a tent at The Green Turtle Lodge. It was our first ride on a tro tro and we realized that it was a much better option that taking a bus. Even tho we did break down a few times on the 3 tro tro's we had to take to get to the beach, they were a better experience all round. Because they are smaller vehicles they cannot fit too many people. Whereas the bus will fit as many people and pieces of luggage that it can. This makes for very long loading & unloading times. The tro tro's too are overloaded but due to their size only so much can be stuffed into & onto them.
